IPPA’s primary mission is two-fold: 1) to encourage candidates for public office to reference relevant moral imperatives to justify public policy proposals; and 2) to provide voters with ethical guidelines for evaluating candidates and their positions on issues. To accomplish these goals, IPPA members actively seek to participate in the political process in the following ways: - Meet with candidates and their campaign managers or other staff members
- Conduct “Town Meetings” with local or county political organizations and other special interest constituent groups
- Provide information, references, and links concerning ethics and values on the Internet via our website: InterfathPoliticalAction.org
- Allow candidate organizations and the general public to use information on our website, with the requirements that IPPA be cited as the source, and that the language and descriptions of IPPA Core Principles not be changed
- Provide tools to citizens and organizations for introducing moral imperatives and ethical considerations into political discourse (see Tools for Political Action on IPPA Website)
